True to our rich western heritage and the Cowboy Way, the Quesnel Rodeo Club is pleased to welcome the South Quesnel Business Association as the title sponsor of our 54th Annual Quesnel Rodeo. The South Quesnel Business Association represents over 65 community minded businesses, from the top of Dragon Lake Hill to Quesnel’s Southern boundary on Highway 97. In addition to sponsoring and supporting many other community events and organizations, including Big Brother Big Sisters of Quesnel; the South Quesnel Business Association also supports the marketing and revitalization of South Quesnel.
The Quesnel Rodeo Club is pleased to announce major changes for our 2019 Quesnel Rodeo. We’ve taken one of Canada’s largest amateur rodeos and added Canadian Professional Rodeo Association’s Saddle Bronc Riding. We’re calling this event our Super Saddle Bronc Showdown. The 2019 Quesnel Rodeo will be the first of its kind in Canada. A true hybrid rodeo as it has been sanctioned by the British Columbia Rodeo Association and the Canadian Professional Rodeo Association
For the first time in Western Canada, the 54th Annual Quesnel Rodeo will bring together British Columbia’s top amateur rodeo contestants, Canada’s top professional saddle broc riders, and rodeo stock from two of Western Canada’s premier rodeo stock contractors, Wild Horse Race contestants from Alberta and British Columbia and our local Wild Cow Milking cowboys and cowgirls.
With our large video replay screen along with Western Canada’s top rodeo contestants and stock, the scene is set for our 54th Annual Quesnel Rodeo to be an action packed and entertaining rodeo weekend. Perhaps, just maybe, our best rodeo yet.
The Quesnel Rodeo Club’s ability to host great rodeos which are true community events and celebrations is only possible with the great financial support generously provided by our community minded business sponsors. Be sure to visit “Our Partner’s” page and check out our great community minded corporate sponsors and show your appreciation by shopping at their businesses. To our rodeo fans and corporate sponsors we are truly grateful and say, thank you.
